ABOUT THE ROLE

Soccer de Brazil Academy is on the lookout for two dedicated full time Soccer Coaches to join our dynamic team in Sydney, NSW. The selected individuals will be pivotal in nurturing the soccer talents of our participants, aligning with our academy’s ethos of fostering a love for soccer, sportsmanship, and holistic development. These roles are set within a supportive environment that cherishes the Brazilian zest for soccer while adhering to the professional standards prevalent in Australia. These roles entail the following responsibilities:
? Conducting coaching, training, and instructing sessions for academy students by analysing individual and team performances, and developing abilities to foster continuous improvement in both soccer skills and sportsmanship.
? Strategising and directing training plans, developing play patterns, and assessing training progress to ensure optimum performance during both training and competitions.
? Motivating students, and supervising practice sessions to create a conducive learning and competitive environment that nurtures the love for soccer and teamwork.
? Assisting in the selection of potential student players for the academy, ensuring a balanced and skilled team composition that aligns with our soccer development objectives.
? Coordinating entries into local and inter-academy soccer competitions, ensuring timely and accurate submissions, thereby providing students with a platform to exhibit their skills and sportsmanship.
? Promoting soccer skills development, and overseeing the participation of students in soccer, encouraging a healthy, active, and collaborative lifestyle.
? Officiating at inter-academy soccer events to enforce rules, ensuring fair play and adherence to the sporting code of conduct, instilling a sense of sportsmanship among students.
? Coordinating and directing soccer activities within the academy, liaising with other staff members to interpret and enforce rules and regulations relating to soccer, ensuring smooth operation of all soccer-related events and activities.


This role is full time with 38 hours of work per week. This position is based in Sydney, NSW. ABOUT YOU

The minimum requirements for the position are:
? AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate IV (or
overseas equivalent + relevant work experience
? At least three years of relevant experience in soccer coaching or a related field may substitute
for formal training.
