Ormeggio is a buzzy Italian meat free restaurant and cocktail bar overlooking a beautiful expanse of water and stunning views.
We are currently recruiting for a Restaurant Manager to join our team and to work alongside and report directly to our Group Operations Manager.
Ormeggio Requirements:
Australian resident
Fluent English, spoken and written
Current NSW RSA Certificate
Minimum of two years managerial experience in an Italian restaurant
Good English verbal skills
Understanding of hospitality cost control measures
Extensive food and wine knowledge
Great memory for faces
Comfortable in all aspects of reporting of daily operations and financials
Very good personal grooming standards
Experience essential, preferred working knowledge of Italian cuisine
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, use common sense and work as a team player
Excellent attention to detail
Positive attitude and willing to both learn, share, and participate
Strong team building and delegation skill
Love of food and providing fantastic experiences for the customer!
Hours can vary and can include weekend and holiday work
Preferred Requirements:
Experience with SevenRooms or other online reservation platform
Fine dining experience
Formal hospitality studies completed
Knowledge of Italian language is desired but not essential
Tasks include:
Continuous training and development to ensure current knowledge
Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager
Supervise and train FOH staff
Cost control to budget expectations

Salary $65,000-$75,000 p.a. + Super
