Recruitment 24/7 has a vacancy for a Delivery and Collection Truck Driver for our client based in Salisbury. This position is ongoing, working the hours of 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (occasionally 2:30 p.m. pending workload). Generally, our client finishes at 12:30 p.m. on a Friday afternoon. The successful applicants must be able to work overtime when required.
Casual pay rate starts at $32.50 plus overtime and penalties.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Collecting steel door frames from a manufacturer, loading and securing them, and then completing deliveries to sites and to depo at Salisbury.
Collect goods and products from depo and deliver to sites and customers.
Maintain and clean vehicles.
Assist with store control where needed and/or various tasks that may arise when deliveries aren't required on some days.
To be considered for this role you must:
Have a minimum of a manual driver's licence.
Some delivery experience is preferred.
A forklift licence and/or forklift driving skills would be an asset but not mandatory.
Physically fit and healthy as some lifting if required.
Good knowledge of Brisbane and surrounds (truck has navigation features).
Competent at speaking English and must have a reasonable literacy level.
