How you will make an impact The People Operations and Systems Lead is a new role within Cabrini's Shared Services team, created to provide operational direction and leadership to the People Operations team (four HR admin team members). Reporting to the Director of Shared Services, the objective of the People Operations and Systems Lead is to optimise the systems and processes associated with the core employee lifecycle (on boarding to off boarding) activities, ensuring compliance and data integrity. As the functional subject matter expert for hire to retire processes and master data management within Workday (Cabrini's HRIS), the People Operations and Systems Lead will be the escalation point for complex queries and service requests directed to the People Operations team via a helpdesk service model. Key responsibilities include:

Oversee day to day operations delivery as per agreed SLAs and resolving queries about Cabrini's HR processes, policies, and systems escalated by People Operations team members and business stakeholders
Monitor the helpdesk ticketing queue and supporting the team to prioritise and respond to complex queries involving employee movements and data change workflows, new employee on boarding and document management
Facilitate training and provide support to users of relevant Workday modules and apply change management principles to support the business through system changes and upgrades
Drive efficiencies within team operations and all HRIS enabled processes, including ensuring all processes are well documented and supported by instruction guides, checklists and other collateral.
Lead the quality assurance, audit, reporting and governance related to the accuracy and quality of employee data in Workday
As business process SME, own the delivery of E2E business process and requirements for complex service requests and system enhancements and engage with stakeholders and other functional owners to scope out business requirements and define E2E business process and requirements.

About you Crucial to success in this role will be a deep understanding of business requirements and business process data flow; an ability to identify and implement system improvements and coaching expertise to build staff capability, in addition to:

A tertiary qualification in HR or a relevant field
Experience leading and coaching a team to deliver exceptional service
Experience in a HR operations role within a large and complex environment
Strong and demonstrated experience in the administration of complex HRIS processes and data management in an HR Services delivery capacity
Experience working with a top tier HRIS system (e.g. Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle).
Experience and confidence to collaborate with business and HR leaders to solve problems and achieve outcomes
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple, time sensitive priorities in a fast-paced environment
Possess a positive, service-oriented attitude with excellent follow through on issues and foresee potential challenges and proactively propose resolution options
A healthcare background is desirable but not essential
