This role is only for an experienced signwriter with installation experience and who is currently eligible to work full time in Sydney.
Role:
Installation of signage, including vinyl decals, ACP signs, lightboxes, LED signs, vehicle wraps and any other signage required by our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that signs meet clients' specifications in terms of spelling, font, size, and medium.
- Preparing the site for installation by removing old signage, preparing the surface or structure, and securing the electrical connections.
- Ensuring the effective measurement, placement, connection, and installation of the sign.
- Mounting and installing the signs in accordance with all safety protocols.
- Clearing debris and materials from the site after each installation.
- Performing maintenance and repairs to signs, as needed.
- Operating and maintaining the tools and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Must have at least three years' experience as a sign installer or similar
- Experience working at heights (ladders, EWP, etc) in public spaces
- Experience in working with various types of signs including vinyl, channel letters, electrical signs (low voltage), aluminium composite
(ACP), lightboxes, road signs, pylon signs, etc.
- Experience in working with various types of signage media and materials, especially how they react during installation including
vinyl, ACP, vehicle wrap material, acrylic, fabricated letters, etc
- Experience of effective signage fixing methods to ensure adherence and safe mounting and what to do when site conditions are less
favourable
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- A sound understanding of the applicable installation methods, materials, and safety measures for various signage installation situations
- The ability to operate hand and power tools safely, effectively and with due care.
- Physically fit and able to perform strenuous labour including lifting, climbing, and working at heights.
- The ability to work in harsh weather conditions.
- Willingness to work during evenings and on weekends, as needed.
Knowledge:
- Very good and refined tool skills-
- Good knowledge and understanding of various types of signs including vinyl, channel letters, electrical signs, aluminium composite (ACP), lightboxes, road signs, pylon signs, etc.
- Good knowledge and understanding of various signage media and materials, especially how they react during installation including
vinyl, ACP, vehicle wrap material, acrylic, fabricated letters, etc
- Knowledge and experience of effective signage fixing methods to ensure adherence and safe mounting and how to fix problems on
site.
- Knowledge of 12V (low voltage electrical)
