Our Geelong-based client is looking for a Service Technician to join their team. Your new role As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
Installing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining various types of commercial equipment, such as washers, dryers and folders
Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with the equipment and providing solutions
Performing preventive maintenance and routine inspections of laundry equipment
Providing technical support and training to staff on how to operate and maintain laundry equipment
Working independently or as part of a team to complete service calls and projects
Following company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations
Reporting any issues or feedback to the Manager
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need:
A relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing fields
A current driver's licence
A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
A customer-focused approach and excellent communication skills
The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
The ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative
The knowledge of commercial laundry equipment and industry standards (preferred but not essential)
