New full time permanent Senior Payroll Officer opportunity for experienced end to end processing candidates who are looking to upskill and work within a dynamic and fast paced environment.
In this permanent role you will report into an industry experienced Payroll Manager and support a wider payroll team of 6. Payroll sits within the accounting operations division. Your role will focus on fortnightly processing of 600+ employees working across a range of payroll / T&A systems. This role will also involve providing assistance with payroll related projects.
This role is offering C. $90,000 + super and provides hybrid & flexible working arrangements working from the office & home.
The role is based in Sydney CBD and easily accessible via public transport.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting in the processing of fortnightly payrolls for 600+ employees across Australia.
Work with a range of industry related awards and stay up to date with local legislation.
Investigate and action any payroll related requests and queries in a timely manner.
Take part in payroll related projects.
Ensure excellent levels of customer service and collaboration with all stakeholders.
Assist with any ad hoc payroll / accounting duties when required.
Preferred skills & experience:
3+ years payroll experience ideally working in a high volume processing environment.
Having some experience within accounting is beneficial but not essential.
End to end processing experience is preferred.
Ability to work in a dynamic and evolving work environment is preferred.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong and effective communication skills.
