The role:
Meath Care (Inc) is looking for a full-time Admission and Liaison Coordinator who will be working between our two residential facilities in Como and Kingsley.

• Reporting directly to the Executive Manager of Care Services, the role will be responsible for but not limited to:
• The coordination of potential client inquiries, pre-admission, admission processes, and waitlist management.
• Manage the organisational process for recording resident inquiries/referrals, pre-admission, and admission procedures.
• Provide advice, guidance and support with queries relating to their application, contract, navigation of the Aged Care system.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilise strong financial acumen to interpret complex funding models and explain in plain language to clients and their families.
• Ensure all requests and concerns made during resident interactions are followed up and outcomes recorded.

About You:
• Demonstrated experience working in a customer liaison, administration, or client service role.
• Comprehensive communication and interpersonal skills to ensure clear and accurate communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience working with Microsoft Office products, electronic finance, or care systems.
• Experience working in aged care or retirement living.
• Experience and knowledge related to aged care and retirement living funding processes.

Essential Criteria
• Proven experience in a client focused role within aged care
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information in plain language and build strong professional relationships with clients
• Demonstrated understanding of Aged Care Funding Model
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to review, understand and interpret contracts and applications
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (diploma or higher) or substantial relevant experience
• Current National Police Clearance (no older than six months);
• Own car and ability to drive independently.

Desirable Criteria
• Current Flu Vaccination.
• Covid 19 Vaccination.
