Upholsterer
Novacorr Healthcare are currently looking for a talented individual to join their team as an upholsterer at their premises in Bells Creek.
We are looking for candidates who have the proficiency to be able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high work standards.

The Position
Upholstering chairs and beds as directed by the Production Manager.
Full time hours
Qualifications and Skills
• High level of verbal and written communication skills
• Design, construct, and complete custom seating, draperies, and cases according to design specs, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Measure and record dimensions and specifications from blueprints or sketches, and construct seat frame using hand tools and power tools
• Cut, trim, and assemble materials to fabricate upholstered furniture
• Fabricate case frames
• Fabricate and install upholstery, using sewing machine
• Apply fabric to frames using staple gun, tack gun, or hand tacking
• Install padding and springs
• Finish upholstered furniture and items with piping, padding, or materials
• Construct furniture frame from drawings
• Sew and cut up to the Australian Standards and Quality
