The Role
Firesafe are looking for a Welder to support our workshop function. This role will be based at our workshop in Bibra Lake.
Duties & Responsibilities
Setting pipe to the correct configuration for welding
General welding – Mig (GMAW) Stick (SMAW) & Tig
Competent with Oxy & Plasma Cutting
Using hand and power tools – e.g. threading machines
Selecting, measuring, cutting, reaming and threading pipe
Report health and safety matters to Procurement as they occur
Ensure your own safety and health at work, and that of your mates
Set a high standard of HSEQ Compliance
Requirements
Welding Ticket
Construction White Card
Valid and current Drivers Licence and own transport or means of transport to work locations or sites as required by the role
