Award winning Graze Restaurant at the Willow Tree Inn currently has employment opportunities available for qualified and experienced Cooks or Chefs to join our team.
A practical knowledge of grill station operation will be advantageous along with a passion for delivering consistent quality food through a seasonal menu of regional ingredients including our own Colly Creek Beef and Castle Mountain Lamb.

• Formal qualifications and experience in comparable commercial kitchen operations
• Friendly, highly motivated with a passion for cooking
Job Duties:
CHEF:
• Preparation and cooking of a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner menu
• Function catering
• Quality Control
• Providing training and mentoring within the kitchen team
• Ordering
• Menu planning and costing
• Rostering
• Creating revenue generating ideas
• Maintaining high OHS standards
COOK :
• Preparing and cooking food from an a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner menu
• Function catering
• Using kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills regulating temperatures to ensure proper cooking to order
• Plating the cooked items and portioning food
• Ensuring quality of food preparations
• Maintaining high OHS standards
While qualifications are desired, experience and the right attitude will be preferred in our successful applicant.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year plus superannuation
Experience: Chef/Cook minimum 3 years’ experience
Education: Cert III or higher depending on role or without formal qualification, at least 3 years fulltime experience
