Redpath Australia currently has an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our project, MMG's Dugald River Mine in North West Qld.
Your duties will be varied and involve:
Develop short to medium term mine plans for the underground operation, ensuring all key mining physicals are achieved in line with the principles quarterly mine plan;
Provide technical support and quality control of the works in accordance with the Contract Specification and the relevant Statutory Regulations;
Inspect work at frequent intervals to ensure work quality meets stated objectives, and the required environmental controls are in place;
Provide support with managing and prompting efficient corrective actions for non-conformance;
Carry out engineering, temporary works design, organise subcontract proposals, awarding and supervising of improvement projects and specific subcontracts as required by the project.
Roster on Offer: 8 days on 6 days off, Permanent Day Shift.
FIFO: available from Brisbane & Townsville.
Camp: A well-known mining hub in Cloncurry North West QLD, the camp on site features a variety of facilities including a modern canteen and accommodation. The site currently has:
En-suite rooms with air conditioning and Wi-Fi
Good quality and consistent standard of meals
Clean camp site with large array of facilities & activities
Your Value
The ideal candidate will have:
A tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mining);
Previous experience in underground mining including development and production;
Proficient with Deswik CAD and Scheduler;
Sound knowledge of managing and implementing project developments;
Valid manual drivers licence;
