About the Role:
As the Logistics Coordinator/Fleet Allocator, your primary function is to ensure that trucks run at optimum capacity with regards to installs and collections.
Other tasks will include:
* Daily scheduling of truck runs within the events and construction sectors
* Working closely with interdepartmental managers/supervisors and sales staff to ensure all jobs are booked in correctly and carried out as requested.
* Attending and running toolbox meetings
* Ensuring staff are completing daily inspections on trucks and forklifts
* Reporting and investigating vehicle incidents on-road. Ensure drivers are properly filling in accident reports and details and that company procedures are being followed.
The successful applicant will require: -
* Organisational Skills and Time Management - strong ability to delegate and follow through on plans and demands
* Knowledge of the Sydney region for planning
* Logistics or fleet management skills highly valuable but not required
* Intermediate computer skills – ability to run in house systems as well as Microsoft Suite
* People Management Skills
* Customer Service experience
