La Petite Souris is a modern French patisserie in Alexandra Headland that makes everything in-house. Popular amongst locals and afar for our wide range of pastries and petite gateau, we are seeking a reliable qualified baker or pastry chef to join their team to help keep up with demand for their quality products.
As a qualified baker or pastry chef you will have expert skills producing various doughs, shaping bread and using a dough sheeter. You will be particularly experienced with making baguettes and other breads, handling high volumes of croissant, puff, shortbread doughs and laminated products with speed and precision. Experience in sourdough is advantageous also. You will take pride in all your work and be happy to assist with other food preparation tasks eg making custard, sausage rolls, lining tarts.
Daytime shifts only, so your evenings will be free for yourself. Must be available on weekends (Wednesday through to Sunday shifts)
