What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?
- Crafting strategic roadmaps for designated applications
- Skilfully gathering and documenting business and technical requirements through engaging meetings, interviews, and in-depth analysis
- Orchestrating workshops to capture and document technical, functional, and business specifications
- Collaborating closely with solution architects, product owners, and vendors to ensure the delivery of crystal-clear and effective solutions
- Working hand-in-hand with business units to ensure applications align seamlessly with their needs
- Offering your subject matter expertise to enhance McDonald’s systems
- Prudently managing projects, delivering results that stay well within budgetary boundaries
- Coordinating the provision of outsourced resources for support and development
- Navigating the entire McDonald’s applications lifecycle, from quality assurance testing and user acceptance testing to deployment, sustainability, and efficient vendor management
- Guiding the process of change control by raising requests and ensuring that solution documentation is current
- Keeping our Technology Solutions documentation and knowledge base up-to-date
- Spearheading the identification of system and process changes that elevate solution reliability, enhance effectiveness, streamline efficiencies, minimize support escalations, and reduce disruptions to our business partners
- Managing and participating in the successful launch of product releases and go-to-market plans
- Actively participating in IT Initiatives and forums, contributing to local and global discussions as necessary
