As a Sample Administrator, you will play a crucial role in our laboratory operation, ensuring the timely registration and processing of samples.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Registering all samples by the end of the day and queuing them for analysis.
- Enrolling samples in LIMS1 and SOPHIA, working towards “superuser” for these systems.
- Meeting customer expectations in terms of turnaround time and analytical result quality.
- Maintaining sample traceability both internally and externally.
- Assisting with the supply of sampling kits/equipment to customer sites.
- Handling customer inquiries and confirming analysis requirements with clients when necessary.
- Applying technical knowledge to the appropriate registration parameters within the lab database.
- Maintain consumable stock levels.
- Providing general support to the Operations Manager.
- Exercise effective cost control for the provision of the Contract Goods and Services.
