Duties and responsibilities will include:
· Responsible for the preparation, assessment and submission of consumer and business loan applications
· Developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (sales, credit, brokers)
· Completing due diligence whilst assessing the loan application and adhering to policies and procedures
· Comply with all legislative requirements including, NCCP, Privacy Act and AML/CTF
· Internal reporting and other administrative duties
In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:
· Consumer and business lending practices and principles secured by residential mortgages
· Minimum of five years previous experience as a credit analyst in Finance/Banking/Mortgage markets
· Ability to analyse and interpret complex company and trust financials and structures
· Knowledge and understanding of mortgage terminology
· Outstanding customer service, relationship building and team collaboration skills
· Strong analytical, problem-solving and time management skills whilst having an eye for attention to detail
· Highly motivated, self-driven and able to work autonomously as well as in a team
· Having previously held a delegated lending authority will be favourably considered
· Tertiary studies in finance, business or accounting will be highly desirable
