What's involved?
Workshop based industrial blasting of mining equipment and other plant from the utilities sector, as well as power generation and renewables.
Occasional painting duties
Workshop cleanliness and safety behaviours
Use of forklift and yard duties
What are we looking for?
Minimum 2 years experience industrial blasting
Must have a forklift licence
Experience in heavy / engineering workshops highly regarded
Dogging ticket highly regarded
Genuine commitment to safety
Excellent work references that can support your application
What we can offer you:
Full time, permanent position
Competitive hourly rate with a forecasted increase before Christmas
Lifestyle roster of 4 x 10 hour days Monday - Thursday - Day Shift
This includes a paid lunch break accruing 2 hours of OT minimum per week
Optional overtime on Friday
