About the role

The role of the Guest Service Supervisor is to oversee the overall operations in Guest Service, providing support to all guest facing colleagues and ensuring our valued guests have a seamless and memorable stay. You will be responsible for three key areas in the wider team – Our People, Our Processes and Our Operations. It provides an opportunity to grow your established supervisory capabilities and develop leadership skills in a varied and dynamic environment. You will be an excellent brand ambassador for the resort and create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location.

What we need from you

We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team players who knows how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations. The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 2 years experience in Front Office and Hotel setting, preferably 5 star
Demonstrated ability to build rapport, train and engage with your team members.
IT and tech savvy, proficient in Opera, HUB, Microsoft Office
Full and Valid Drivers Licence
Ability to relocate and live on Hayman Island, Queensland and commence position by 27 November 2023
Be comfortable with an hourly rate of $27.89 per hour on a permanent part-time contract (Hayman Island Resort Enterprise Agreement 2023) with a minimum of of 40 hours per week with appropriate working rights.

We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team players who knows how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations. Ideally, you’ll have spent at least two years in a front desk or guest service position in a luxury, 5-star environment. and be able to provide a high-level of service excellence to InterContinental Hayman Island Resort’s valued guests.
