Downtown Pizzeria Pty Ltd is looking for a fulltime Chef, we are offering a salary of $70,000.
We are looking for the right chef who can plan and organise food preparation and cooking at Downtown Pizzeria in accordance with with all Health and Food safety requirements and who can assist the head chef in managing the kitchen.
Duties will include –
• Plan and prepare menu items in consultation with the head chef and ensure food safety and quality standards are met
• Assist head chef in managing food costs
• Maintain a clean kitchen and direct staff in doing so
• Direct food preparation and cooking
• Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
• Order kitchen equipment and monitor food stock levels and place orders for food items
• Supervise, mentor and instruct kitchen staff
• Manager customer complaints in an appropriate manner
