EAE Group Pty Ltd is a global company with headquarters in Istanbul and more than 2,500 employees worldwide. The company’s core business is to provide energy distribution system infrastructure design, engineering calculations and production for data centres, airports,
skyscrapers, hospitals, shopping centres, power plants and factories. Now, we are expanding our business into Australia and we’re looking for a suitable candidate.
Main duties and responsibility
• Designing busbar systems and central and secondary energy distribution networks.
• Dimensioning calculations of busduct systems, electrical schemes, single lines, busduct and cable routing plans, earthing and installation details, as well as electrical design programs, material assemblies and issuing electrical documentation in accordance with local and global
standards.
• Determining the design requirements of electrical power switches, transformers, panels, cables and control equipment in the field and designing the system according to the project.
• Working with the procurement department to start supplying new equipment and materials as needed.
• Implementing of minimum global and local standards required for electrical equipment installations. Creating Policies and Procedures as needed for handling products.
• Training field teams during the installation period to ensure installation complies with the standard and specification. At the end of the installation, perform busbar insulation and current continuity tests and confirm the suitability of the system.
• Liaise with other disciplines such as instrumentation, mechanics and construction to accelerate electrical installation work and inspections.
• Defining the scope of work, working hours and material requirements for the contractors, preparing electrical construction work packages, supervising the electrical engineers of the contractors, and informing the project manager of the work progress.
• Monitoring the compliance of the electrical contractor with the project specifications, electrical design and standards.
• Identifying material, equipment, certification and installation nonconformities and preparing nonconformity reports based on project specifications, regulations and standards. Making technical evaluations with solution proposals, following corrective actions and ensuring that technical non-conformities are closed in a sound manner.
• Conducting hazardous area investigations on site to ensure that energy distribution system plans meet local and global Fire, Earthquake, IP and ATEX regulations, and preparing relevant reports
• Preservation of the project electrical design plan, comparison with engineering design documents, up-to-date with the latest engineering revisions and actual field busbar installation, testing and commissioning data.
Skills and experience
Bachelor level degree (Electrical Engineering or higher qualification)
Minimum 2 years’ relevant industry experience.
Fluent in English
Salary
Between AUD $100,000 to AUD $110,000 plus superannuation (11%) per annum
