The Key Responsibilities include the following -
1. Design and manufacture cast resin and oil filled transformers including the production of electrical and mechanical drawings. Implement
new designs as per latest research and product requirements.
2. Demonstrated capability of programming in Microsoft C#, .NET and VB6 to maintain and improve the company's design software.
3. Lead the manufacturing team and manage workflow and work areas: Workflow: -Meet delivery deadlines - Control documentation/ work
packages/ storing/ labelling. -Deal with subcontractors (delivery, callout times) -Control material usage Work areas: -Core Department -
Winding Department -Casting Plant -Assembly - Testing and Quality Assurance
4. Maintain plant and bring about improvements in the following areas: - Casting plant, Winding machines, Core cutter -
Machine tools - Programming of all machines, controllers, and timers. - Maintain and improve plant documentation. - Energy and waste
minimisation.
5. Maintain factory and assets: -To maintain a clean, tidy, organised, safe and secure factory. - Ensure correct storage of tools, lifting gear,
chemicals. - Factory should always be fit for inspection by Workcover / EPA/ Customers/ Inspectors.
6. Support the procurement in reviewing material specifications and identifying new suppliers. Inspection of all materials and services to be
as per the specifications of the purchase order.
7. Support the sales personnel with the preparation of tender documents both technical and commercial conditions.
8. Interact with customers during briefing, production and Factory Acceptance Test phases
9. Work in accordance with the company's policies and procedures and relevant workplace and government legislations.
10. Prepare periodic technical and production reports for management
