Aegros is Latin for ‘Patient’. We chose this name because it speaks to our focus on the patient. Every day we strive to place the patient first by providing therapeutic plasma products they would not otherwise be able to access.
At Aegros we believe access to life saving therapeutic plasma drugs is a human right and not a privilege. In a nutshell our mission is to put the patients first through innovation.
Over 30 years we have developed our HaemaFrac™ process which enables countries to turn human plasma they collect into lifesaving hyperimmune products.

Reporting to Head of Global Project Delivery, the Project Controls Managers is a permanent role and its main purpose will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating project control activities supporting project delivery.
You will require a strong understanding of project management principles and practices, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of project controls tools, techniques, and software to drive successful outcomes.
Experience in delivering project controls services in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Some of the key areas of focus…
- Developing and implementing project controls plans and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with the project management plan and objectives.
- Establishing project cost and schedule baselines, monitor progress against them, and report on any variances to the project management team.
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of project data, including cost, schedule, risk, and change management information.
- Analysing project performance and identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Liaising across Aegros team members and contractors to ensure of data accuracy.
- Providing project status reports and other relevant information to project stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and contractors.
- Ability to prepare management reports for Aegros senior leadership.
- Coordinating with project team members to ensure project controls requirements are understood and implemented.
- Managing the project risk register and ensure mitigation plans are in place for all identified risks.
- Managing the project change control process to ensure all changes are appropriately documented & approved.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to project team members on project controls principles and practices.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensuring benchmark project governance principles are being applied.
- Responsible for the development and ongoing enhancement of project controls processes and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Flexible with working in Sydney for approx 6 months
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project controls or a related field, with a track record of success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project controls tools, techniques, and software, including scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certification such as ASCS/FRICS, PMI-SP or AACE International CCP is desirable.
- You will have demonstrated ability to establish new systems and processes and build strong relationship and trust with business leaders to achieve status of a trusted advisor.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and identify systemic approaches to problem solving in a continuously changing environment
