Randstad Canberra is currently seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter to work for a multinational food manufacturer located in the ACT. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, including breakdown work. This is a permanent night shift opportunity. To be successful, you will have:
Certificate III Engineering - Mechanical trade
Basic work tools
2-5 years + in a industrial/manufacturing environment
Primary Duties:
Plant maintenance and mechanical fitting - working on high-speed machinery and conveyor belts
Breakdowns and emergency call-outs
Maintaining OHS safety standards
