Pre-Sale Technical Consultant Your new company A global software company that's software is designed for product lifecycle management. The software is designed to help businesses manage their entire product development process, from ideation and design through to production and delivery. Their primary focus is on the fashion and consumer goods industries. Your new role As a pre-sales technical consultant you will need to provide technical support and guidance during the sales process. Some of your key responsibilities will include ;
Designing a solution and consulting with technical teams about capabilities
Install and configure the product to be self-sufficient
Demonstrate the system in pre-sales situation, including personalizing it for the prospect with their data and processes
Analyse/understand business requirements (process/use cases flow mapped to software features)
Build statement of work with services estimates
Work with internal teams and provide feedback to develop new products and services that meet customer needs.
Conduct IT architecture , hardware and software requirements discussions including hosting options.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience at large software ERP, Supply Chain, PLM vendor (with similar pre-sales role).
System demonstrations and presentation skills.
Proven industry experience in retail, fashion, consumer goods or automotive.
Technical skills in JavaScript, Databases (MSSQL, Oracle) , XML
Web application knowledge in Java (WildFly, Tomcat)
Ability to have technical discussion with C-level clients
