Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Podiatrist at Queensland Foot Centres located in Brisbane, QLD. The Podiatrist will be responsible for performing medical consultations, diagnosing foot and lower limb conditions, managing patient treatment plans, creating custom orthotics, managing diabetic foot care and recommending therapeutic exercises. Additionally, the Podiatrist will be expected to maintain patient records and keep up-to-date with industry advancements.
Qualifications
Medical degree in Podiatry with relevant registration/license to practice
Expert knowledge of biomechanics and its role in assessing lower limb function and treatment methodologies
Experience in orthotics design, prescription, and fitting for various foot types and pathologies
Specialised knowledge and experience in the treatment and management of diabetic foot conditions
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with patients and colleagues effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and capability to maintain detailed patient records
Enthusiasm for ongoing learning and professional development in the field
Experience in sports podiatry and knowledge of sports-related lower limb injuries is an asset
