4-year full time Apprenticeship
Skillinvest is currently seeking 1st-3rd year Electrical Apprentices looking for an opportunity to commence or complete a 'Certificate III Electrotechnology'. Based locally in Mornington, you will receive ongoing mentoring whilst working towards becoming a trade qualified Electrician. Our host is a well-established electrical business specialising in new home builds - with over 300 projects on the go at any time, no two days are the same! Our apprentices will work alongside skilled A Grade Electricians and will gain valuable hands-on experience in a safe and professional environment. Duties
Read electrical, architectural, and mechanical diagrams, drawing, specifications
Test for, locate and repair electrical malfunctions
Install electrical equipment and electronic control systems and cables
Connect electrical equipment, switches, outlets, fittings, and circuit breakers
Maintain electrical processes
Requirements
Pre-apprenticeship Certificate II in Electrotechnology
Strong mathematical and technical skills
Logistical thinking and diagnostic ability
Willingness to commit to work and study
Drivers Licence
