Experienced Blue collar internal recruitment Officer to join a well established engineering Your new company Our client, a reputable mining engineering company based in Mackay, is seeking a recruitment officer to join their team. This role is heavily focused on the blue-collar workforce and requires previous experience in blue-collar recruitment. Your new role In this role you will find yourself carrying out duties including but not limited to;
Support the end-to-end recruitment functions, including position advertising, resume screening, shortlisting, pre-employment checks, references, and ticket & licence checks.
Act as the first point of contact for candidates, providing information and guidance throughout the recruitment process.
Maintain accurate data in recruitment platforms to ensure a streamlined recruitment process.
Perform general administrative tasks to support the recruitment function.
Book inductions and training sessions as required for new hires.
Advertise job vacancies and shortlist potential candidates.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will require the following;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with candidates and internal stakeholders.
The ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using recruitment platforms and maintaining accurate data.
Strong knowledge of the mining engineering industry is highly desirable.
Previous experience in blue-collar recruitment is essential.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
