New role for an experienced Heritage Works Project Manager overseeing multiple unique projects Your new company An incredibly community focussed and unique organisation and one of my best clients, are seeking an experienced Heritage Buildings Project Manager to join their team for an initial 12-month fixed term role commencing ASAP, based in the inner Melbourne suburbs. Your new role Working on exciting, diverse and unique heritage projects that will see you manage iconic gothic-style gates and fencing restoration and sourcing international materials for other restoration works, (totalling $1M), this role will manage these projects end to end while promoting an environment that encourages a team approach to achieve the goals and objectives of the organisation's projects. Reporting to the Senior Manager and working closely with the broader team of experienced Project Managers and Consultants, your expertise in navigating the challenges of heritage works will be largely drawn upon to liaise with multiple stakeholders including Local Council, Heritage Victoria, and Heritage Council of Australia. What you'll need to succeed
Previous project management experience of projects with heritage requirements .
The ability to identify and navigate Local Council, Heritage Victoria and Heritage Council of Australia processes to obtain permits for required works.
A Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
Proven knowledge, understanding and experience in Construction and Project Management.
Comprehensive experience as a client side or head contractor project manager delivering physical infrastructure and built form projects to meet organisational objectives (or other similarly complex projects).
Demonstrated experience in successfully managing complex projects (e.g. Construction and civil works) in a management capacity.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong stakeholder management experience
Current Victorian Driving licence
