About this role The role will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards and ensuring that the company stays current with any changes that may affect its products. You would work closely with various domains and teams, including product development squads, engineering, quality, and legal, to ensure that compliance is integrated into all stages of the product life cycle. Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze changes in regulations and industry standards to ensure the company remains in compliance with all applicable requirements.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Investigate regulatory landscape and determine requirements and policy for new Markets or Technical Innovations
Work closely with product development squads and other stakeholders and Domains including Engineering, Quality,
Marketing and Legal to ensure compliance is integrated into all stages of the Product Life Cycle.
Coordinate at a high level with external testing laboratories, certifiers, and other partners to ensure best in class service and efficiency.
Maintain membership of regulatory groups and forums, advocating for and influencing standards changes and regulatory outcomes.
Advise Project teams in the preparation of regulatory filings, including internal releases, product registrations, certifications, and documentation maintenance.
Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Mentor and provide training and support to Project Teams on compliance-related issues and emerging requirements.
Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of all relevant regulations and standards applicable to our industry, products, and markets.

We're Interested in Hearing from People Who Have:

Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical/industrial Engineering or a related technical field
A minimum 3 years of experience in a Compliance Engineering or Compliance Management role within, or servicing, the electrical appliance industry
Proficient knowledge of relevant global industry regulations, standards and directives including UL & IEC Product Safety, EMC, European Low Voltage Directive, WiFi, as well as Chemical, Food and Environmental Safety regulations
Knowledge and experience managing EESS, NOM, KC, CCC or other country level regulations and certifications is highly valued
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiences
Customer-focused, self directed, and able to prioritize tasks to produce the greatest customer impact
Comfortable in a collaborative, cross functional development environment.
