Our client is an established Canberra based boutique accounting firm seeking experienced Business services accountants from the intermediate to supervisor/manager level. The company prioritises nurturing client connections and providing meaningful benefits to their clients.
Responsibilities include:
Servicing a range of diverse client portfolios and build client rapport
Ensuring tax compliance for companies, partnerships, trusts, individuals & SMSFs.
Handling a variety of tax matters including GST, CGT, FBT and Div7a.
Reviewing the work of junior team members.
Facilitating transparent discussions on necessary changes or improvements.
Interacting with the ATO and other regulatory bodies.
Handling management accounting and providing monthly reports.
Conducting tax research and offering advice.
Ability to work in a busy environment
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Detail oriented and ability to multitask
Be professionally presented
An enthusiastic approach to work
Skills and experience:
Prior experience in a similar position
Experience using cloud accounting software
CA/CPA qualification or working towards
