About the role We are currently seeking a Pipeline Operator Technician at our Biloela facility in Queensland. You will be ensuring the effective operation and maintenance activities of pipelines, facilities and compressor stations to support Zinfra's commercial and operational objective. A wide variety of pipeline duties including electrical, instrumentation and mechanical work performed safely with records maintained and documented in accordance with regulatory compliance. Gas supply to our customers is a 24 hour operation and requires after hour support for breakdowns, emergencies and incidents by participating in a On Call Roster. Key Responsibilities include

Monitor, maintain, validate and repair the electrical equipment and instrumentation for pipelines, facilities and compressor stations
Maintain pipeline records and documentation
Patrol, maintain and repair the pipeline Right of Way
Drive a safety culture and support safety processes and systems to ensure consistently safe delivery of work

About You To be considered for this role you will have previous experience working with Gas Transmission assets or similar and have sound knowledge of calibration of electronic instruments.

Vehicle Drivers license
Hazardous Area Qualification (Installation & Maintenance).
Trade qualification - Electrical/Instrumentation
