Seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic Engineering team. Reporting to the Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design plans, drawings, layouts and procurement of materials and equipment to complete projects, from concept through design, construction, commissioning and final handover.
The Role:
Prepare detailed design work to meet engineering specifications and comply with relevant statutory, OHSW and environmental requirements.
Support tender processes and provide basic estimate support
Procurement of materials and equipment
Customer, contractor and supplier liaison
Provide support to testing and commissioning activities
To succeed:
A degree qualification in mechanical engineering
1-5 years mechanical engineering experience
Industrial, heavy industry or power generation experience
Computer literacy with MSOffice products
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Reporting writing skills
Natural initiative and problem solving abilities
Drivers License (essential)
