The Opportunity
With an exciting portfolio of ongoing and upcoming projects, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Engineer/Planner to assume responsibility for the full scope of planning and monitoring all projects for the business.
Role key duties
• Provide planning support for all projects at all phases for the business
• Provide planning support in the development of proposals
• To coordinate, evaluate and prioritise the activities in each project plan as per the project execution plan and/or with guidance from the Project Engineer
• Update and maintain schedule data to ensure consistency and optimisation across projects
• Perform project progress monitoring and reporting duties including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts with progress achieved to date
• Be a resource to assist in the resolution of project issues by team members
• Assist the Project Delivery Manager, Project Engineers and Principal Engineers and Designers with resolving schedule clashes / over-resourcing
• Regularly keep management/support staff informed of problems, issues and status of on-going projects
• Support the Management Team and Accounting by supplying planning data for analysis
• Support the use/integration of project management systems into the daily operation of the business
