We are seeking qualified and experienced Automotive Electricians to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. The roles will be based in Mackay QLD.

Servicing a variety of clients and industries, we specialise in auto electrical, mechanical, fleet management systems, radio communications, networking, backhaul point to point systems and access control from small business to heavy industry.
Based in Mackay QLD, we are ideally situated to service the needs of our clients within the Mackay, Bowen Basin regions and beyond. Successful candidates will be joining an energetic and talented team with a progressive business culture.
The positions will involve:
• Diagnose and repair a diverse range of machinery and equipment electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair air-conditioning systems on a diverse range of machinery.
• Understand the purpose and how to correctly use an array of diagnostic tooling.
• Diagnose and repair electronic fuel management systems.
• Understand, diagnose, and repair electronic braking systems.
• Understand, diagnose, and repair transmission electronic controlling systems.
• Remanufacture starter motors and alternators.
• Fit wiring and various accessories to a diverse range of machinery/equipment as requested by customer, such as install e-stops, various
radios, beacons, GPS Tracking systems, electric steps, electronic lubrication systems, extra lighting systems.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of company apprentices.
• Keep works area to a high contamination control standard.
• Follow all occupational, health and safety practices set by NB Industries and customer sites.
• Perform duties both in site field and workshop environments as required.
• Understand principles and rules of electrics.
• Understand and interpret electrical schematics.
Directly relevant and related Automotive Electrical employment history and qualifications are required. Including at least 3 years consistent and recent employment history within workshop and mine site environments. Candidate possessing a current standard 11 and QLD Coal Board Medical will be highly regarded.
These positions will be full time, based on a minimum of 38 hours per week with a base salary starting at $79,040.
