The Aegean is calling out for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee the venue operations at our Dulwich Hill location.

ABOUT US:
We are a dining restaurant who prides itself on serving fresh slow cooked meats the authentic ancient Greek kitchen way.
ABOUT YOU:
Our ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience as a Manager in a restaurant.
Skills & Experience:
• Ability to drive consistency and excellence
• Ability to translate direction into action and implement and follow up on company policies and procedures
• Ability to manage inventory and allocate responsibilities and resources
• Excellent presentation, communication and time management skills with the ability to prioritise efficiently
• Experience with all aspects of staff rostering and management
• Highly motivated natural leader who doesnt hesitate to be hands on
• Positive and energetic attitude with the ability and experience to engage, lead and motivate a large team
• Proactive with the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work a roster which includes nights and weekends
• Have all necessary working rights

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a hands on Manager who leads by example and has the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with chefs to create menus.
2. Coordinate special events and functions.
3. Manage procurement and pricing in line with budgets.
4. Maintain detailed stock and financial records.
5. Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness.
6. Evaluate customer satisfaction and address concerns effectively.
7. Recruit, train, and oversee both kitchen and service staff.
8. Take reservations, welcome guests, and assist with orders.
9. Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including financial systems.
10. Cultivate strong relationships with customers and the team to enhance the guest experience.
