Are you passionate about customer service? Do you get job satisfaction in supporting others? We have an exciting opportunity for an Customer Service Manager to join our team in the Sydney Office located in the CBD.

This role will see you being the face of the Piper Alderman Sydney office for external clients, as well as working closely with a Front Desk Coordinator to provide exceptional service to our employees.

This is an ideal opportunity to join a corporate legal environment where you will be involved in a variety of front of house, event and office tasks. This role is not about qualifications but your ability to engage with the whole office, team work and a desire to learn.

The Sydney office culture is described as warm, friendly and approachable. The Office Services function itself is a tight knit team who work extremely well together to ensure the smooth, customer-centric running of the office. With one of our firm values being collaboration, beyond the Office Services team you will work with the Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Development & Marketing departments as well as our specialised legal teams - we are five offices but one team!

The Role

Your primary duties will include:
• Providing exceptional customer service face to face and via phone and email;
• Overseeing client event and meeting coordination, including directing function set ups, IT equipment set up, catering etc.;
• Regularly evaluating firm processes to ensure clients are being serviced in an efficient and streamlined manner, and reporting findings to relevant team leads;
• Conveying client feedback to the relevant staff and teams for their action;
• Coordinating with office services, accounts, travel, business development and human resources in relation to client expectations.

We provide excellent on the job training for all duties involved in your role with us. To get you off to a successful start you will need to demonstrate:
• Previous experience in a customer service role;
• Effective communication skills including confidence and maturity when communicating directly with senior team members and clients;
• Pro-active, positive and energetic attitude with a professional, 'happy to help' nature;
• Organised and efficient, with a keen eye for the detail; and
• IT savvy including MS Office suite and other office systems/equipment.
