A division of CMV Group, CMV Truck & Bus offers a full portfolio of new and used Mack Trucks, UD Trucks & Bus dealerships across 7 locations in Victoria. CMV Truck & Bus are currently recruiting for experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanics to join their depos located in Wodonga, Clayton, Dandenong, Derrimut, Epping, Gippsland, Warrnambool and Shepparton VIC.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and Hydraulic systems on earthmoving equipment and other heavy Vehicles and machinery
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of heavy equipment and machinery
- Do routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts on heavy equipment and machinery heavy
- Overhaul and reman a diverse range of heavy equipment and parts
- Dismantle and test all parts of earthmoving and heavy equipment
Skills and Abilities
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic
- A Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology /Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or relevant
- Ability to work in a team environment
Salary range is $70,000 - $90,000pa commensurate with experience
