The Role
Working in a well-established kitchen, your responsibilities will include:
• Directing kitchen operations
• Planning menu and daily specials
• Checking all food products for quality and freshness
• Calculating costs, stock inventory and ordering as required
• Preparing as well as overseeing the preparation of meals for dining and functions in accordance with dietary requirements
• Recruiting, training, and supervising kitchen staff
The ideal candidate will present with:
• Relevant qualifications no less than a Diploma level, plus 2 years full time employment
• Ability and experience working autonomously in a fast-paced commercial kitchen
• Ability to deliver high quality meals
• Flexibility to work split shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Fully conversant with Health and Safety regulations
• Demonstrated leadership skills
