The Beverly is seeking an experienced Event Organiser to join our team on a full-time basis, based in Surfers Paradise, Queensland.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Developing and implementing event strategies
2. Operationally manage events, including budget and resources
3. Manage the strategic and operational planning activities of events
4. Promotion of the events
5. Meeting with clients to discuss event needs and discussing/planning events accordingly
6. Manage customer database and social media
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Must have minimum 2 years’ experience in the management and coordination of events
2. Relevant Diploma Qualification
3. Hold an Australian RSA
Skills and Attributes:
a) Demonstrable experience in event management
b) Experience using event management systems
c) Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding for the promotion of events (inclusive of social media platforms).
d) Strong communication skills both verbal and written
e) Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities
f) Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
g) Strong time management and organisational abilities
h) Ability to make connections with international artists
