All Seasons Air is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team.
Tasks and Duties:
• Design, organise and oversee the construction, operation and maintenance of mechanical and process plant and installations, establish programs for the coordination of manufacturing activities, and ensure usage of resources is cost effective.
• Plans, designs, organises, and oversees the assembly, erection, commissioning, operation and maintenance of mechanical and process plant and installations. Registration or licensing may be required.
• Ability to develop mechanical designs and select equipment suitable for work packages.
• Strong understanding of current Australian Standards.
• Strong understanding of electrical and control systems.
• Ensuring all designs are compliant with site standards & legislation.
• Project forecasting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Working collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers and other internal staff.
• All other duties as required by the Engineering Manager
Requirements:
• Most occupations in this unit group have a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor’s degree or higher qualification. In some instances, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).
• At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. In some instances, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
• Physical capabilities and ability to work around heavy materials
• Need to be proficient with hand and power tools relevant to the trade.
• Registration or licensing is required
Salary: $70,000- $100,000
