The Galati Group (Galati Nominees Pty Ltd) is looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to undertake regular and non-scheduled maintenance, be involved in major and minor repairs to our fleet of Trailers and machinery at our farm located in Myalup, WA!
We are offering an immediate start full time opportunity.
Job Tasks and responsibilities:
• Performing preventative and reactive maintenance work on Trailer fleet
• Diagnosing problems and servicing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
• Primary experience working with Trucks and Trailers
• Troubleshooting mechanical issues and ensuring trailers are compliant
• Maintenance and install of trailer suspension components
• Skills and experience:
• Experience in Heavy Vehicles with excellent knowledge and understanding of semi-trailer mechanical components
• HR license
• Excellent knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
• Ability to diagnose faults and provide solutions
• Ability to work unsupervised and as a part of a team when required
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
• Strong communication skills
• Minimum Certificate III
Monday - Friday work, 7am-5pm shifts (occasional call outs when required)
$65,000 p/a
