Opportunity

We are seeking to recruit a Principal Method Development Scientist, Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LCMS) on a permanent, full time basis.

This role is responsible for the development of assays for the LCMS laboratory and the training and mentoring of our employees in the laboratory on scientific issues.

Specific responsibilities include: development, transfers and pre-validation of complex and difficult assays, liaising with clients and relevant stakeholders regarding project status and scientific issues and reviewing new projects.

The position is based in Thebarton, Adelaide, South Australia. For candidates based interstate or overseas, relocation assistance is on offer and visa sponsorship for you and your family if you reside overseas.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a degree in a scientific or laboratory-based field and 7 years demonstrated experience in an analytical laboratory (preferably in Contract Research Organisation).

In addition, you will have a minimum of 5 years experience in developing LCMS assays in a regulated bioanalytical laboratory, have effective problem solving and scientific data interpretation abilities and have the willingness to work in and be supportive of a positive and dynamic team culture.
