Providing non-GMO, gluten-free and non-allergenic products to over one hundred countries, they have state-of-the-art production and storage facilities in Victoria, South Australia, and New South Wales.
With headquarters in Toowoomba, where it maintains connections to Australia's largest production areas for pulse crops, they are now on the lookout for full-time Maintenance Planners to play a key role in their operation located in Bowmans, South Australia.
Your Role
This position is responsible for ensuring all repairs, general and preventative maintenance pertaining to grain receival, storage, processing and packing are completed in a safe, timely, cost efficient and professional manner. The Maintenance Planner reports directly to the South Australian Business Manager, with a in-direct link with the South Australian Production Manager. The duties will include but are not limited to:
- Works closely with the South Australian Production Manager to ensure equipment is scheduled, maintained, safe and all repairs are carried out to minimise down time.
- Develop, estimate, implement and maintain a maintenance schedule for all plant and equipment.
- Assemble and install new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools and controls, and hydraulic power systems
- Analyse data, carrying out complex computations and preparing diagrams when required
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, availability and pick up or delivery of materials.
- Plan, schedule, organise with the South Australian Production Manager contractors to complete repairs and upgrades.
- Ensure suitable stock levels of spare parts inventory are available to minimize down time.
- Perform and provide general manufacturing tasks as needed and required.
- Continually look at ways to improve/refine our processes.
- Assist with new projects as required.
About you

- Ability to read/understand blueprints
- have the relevant qualifications and minimum 2 years related experience
- exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- willingness to work within a dedicated team environment
For the right candidate, the annual salary package of $70,000 to $80,000 plus Super is on offer.
