Are you a Senior Bartender/Team Leader with at least three years of Bartending and Team Leader experience in a high volume environment? Whether you’re positioned in our main Azure Bar, Poolside or assisting our Conferencing and Events team - we have the perfect role for you if you are considering staying in Byron long term.
We would love to hear from you if you have Team Leader/Bartending experience of at least three years and have managed and mentored a team for at least a year. This role will suit someone who is very organised, experienced, knowledgeable and confident with setting up a bar for service, managing multiple dockets, training and developing new team members.
Your role will require you to converse with our guests by explaining cocktail, wine and beverage options, assist with dietary requirements and up-sell where possible, while mentoring, training and developing your team. Ensure stock levels are maintained, your bar is kept clean and tidy, and orders are processed per service standards. There may also be some order taking and running of food and drinks depending on where you are working.

To be successful you will hold a current NSW RSA or be in the process of obtaining one, be a strong team player who works well with other colleagues on the floor during service and with our kitchen teams to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- Preferably an Australian permanent resident with a commitment to longer term employment.
- Previous Team Leader experience working in a fast paced Bar, Restaurant or Conferencing & Event Space as a Senior Bartender
- Previous Hotel, Resort or Pool bar experience would be highly regarded
- Current NSW RSA and drivers licence
- High standard of grooming, presentation and communication
- Confidence in conversing with our guests and clients
- Actively demonstrate pride in your work
