How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?
As our new Senior Environmental Consultant – Environmental Design Management, you will join our global Environment and Planning team, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of industries such as transport and energy.
We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart.
Here are the key things you’ll do:
- Collaborate with a wide range of technical specialists to identify and manage environmental constraints and opportunities on medium to large infrastructure projects,
- Coordinate the development of Environmental Management Plans for design and construction,
- Work closely with engineering design teams to ensure the compliance of designs with project planning and environmental approvals,
- Verify the on-site compliance of infrastructure projects with planning and environmental requirements,
- Mentor and coach emerging professionals.

Alongside your Qualifications in environmental science/planning/engineering, you’ll also have:
- Demonstrated experience in environmental management and planning for medium to large scale infrastructure projects in industries such as transport and energy,
- A working knowledge of project/client drivers and how to develop and communicate balanced solutions which address environmental, planning, social, engineering and economic issues,
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) for exceptional client outcomes and relationship building,
- The ability to adapt to work effectively across geographical and cultural boundaries to create and promote a collaborative culture,
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget, to a high quality,
- Experience in reviewing engineering designs as they relate to environmental management and environmental compliance,
- Experience coordinating the development of Environmental Management Plans for design and construction; and
- Construction and digital environmental management/engineering experience highly regarded.
