What’ll you’ll be doing

• Use your mechanical expertise to conduct a range of vehicle inspections for retail customers, dealers, and other business clients.
• You’ll be responsible for contacting customers to book in inspections and liaise with owners, sellers and buying customers about their inspection.
• We love technology so you will be documenting the outcomes of your inspections on our digital app. 

Assist the retail and commercial buying teams in day-to-day administrative tasks. Respond and resolve all queries related to the end-to-end supply chain raised by internal and external stakeholders.

• Raise and analyse purchase orders by email and EDI ensuring the outputs from our forecasting system are accurate.
• Maintain data integrity to ensure our algorithm outputs are accurate, this includes pricing, ordering and reporting.
• Perform routine inventory audits to maximize the efficiency of our current stock holdings.
• Manage existing POs and current bookings.
• Oversee the auto receiving system (PCC) to ensure accurate setup of suppliers and couriers.
• Create , manage and enrich new items that align with receiving and ordering processes.
• Load and manage all rebates.
• Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and provide solutions.
• Create interstate and interbusiness transfers.
• Resolve and manage emails in queues through our ticket management system directed to the supply chain team.

About the role

• This opening is for a Freight Admin Clerk to join our Team at Karawatha immediately

• This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract role

• The working hours for this role are 18:00 – 02:00. This role will ideally suit somebody that is seeking PM/Night work. The successful applicant will also be eligible for a Shift Allowance.

• Create manifests, scan paperwork and ensure documentation is compliant     

• Assist revenue controllers with RPS and process proof of deliveries (POD’s) 

• Utilise our systems to complete administration and data entry tasks

• Debrief our drivers ensuring paperwork has been completed correctly

• Prioritise your work effectively and efficiently throughout the day and complete tasks in a timely manner

• Maintain staff, training and compliance databases where required

• Manage spreadsheet trackers, reports and other compliance documents in order to cleanse, update and maintain them on a regular basis

• Precise data entry skills and excellent attention to detail are a must to be successful in this role

• Previous experience in transport and logistics is preferred but not mandatory. Full scope training and support will be provided to the successful applicant.

OVERALL, PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The role is responsible for responding to, and actioning, customer enquiries which could not be resolved via TGE First Call resolution process. The Freight Investigator role is located on the depot floor enabling the location of freight and resolution of escalations and enquiries. The role is required to respond to customers in line with agreed Service Level Agreements and work to prevent reoccurrence by working with internal stakeholders to identify the root cause of the issue. The role is also responsible for the accurate representation of freight in their care (correctly scanned, easily identifiable and retrievable).

About Your Role: Ship Manager
