As a Construction Manager you lead, manage and organize construction projects with a high level of professionalism and according to routines, company policies, guidelines and local legislation. You prepare and present budgets and business cases as well as follow-up on cost and suppliers to secure financial transparency. You drive tendering and contracting for your projects and coordinate design, execution and logistics for your projects. Through strong teamwork and clear communication, you secure that relevant stakeholders receive needed information on time. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Secure, plan and lead project store refurbishment projects.
• Prepare and present budgets and business cases.
• Optimize planning and follow up, drive improvement actions.
• Run projects in line with H&M routines and secure financial transparency for all projects.
• Secure a good communication between internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct tenders, evaluate bids and select contractors.
• Follow up and manage projects to secure deadlines, costs & quality standards.
• Secure that the stores are built in line with the general/local building standards & H&M/portfolio brand design specifications.
• Ensure compliance with project documentation, time schedule, quality reporting project close out and handover.

As a Business Development Manager in Energy360, you will be at the forefront of this renewable energy revolution and will be responsible for generating high value sales outcomes for biogas and biomethane solutions for Energy360 customers to decarbonise their energy needs behind the meter.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of the agricultural, wastewater treatment and landfill gas sectors by owning all stages of the sales funnel, building a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and ultimately delivering quality sales to exceed targets. Working closely with various internal stakeholders, you will be responsible for securing high value deals by driving and managing the financial and technical solution development, proposal development and customer interface of the sales process.  We're changing the planet for the better, one project at a time!

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing a detailed understanding of customer needs to articulate the value proposition and profitable technical and commercial solutions as well as present proposals of a high standard in accordance with business rules.

• Developing and actively managing a pipeline of business sales opportunities to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets in terms of revenue and gross margin. 

• Effectively tracking and communicating with management the status of sales opportunities and client activity leveraging CRM tools and other regular reporting. 

• Working with Legal and Top-Level staff as required to refine contract terms and conditions on a deal-by-deal basis. 

• Keeping abreast of industry developments and identifying new opportunities and threats which may arise over time. 

What you’ll bring:

• Experience in solution selling with deal values in excess of $1,000,000 per transaction in similar sales roles, ideally within the energy sector or other large B2B solutions-oriented organization

• Demonstrated experience in solution selling in a sales role, as well as an understanding of the energy market and energy solution space especially in flares, biogas delivery systems, boilers and energy efficiency.

• A hunter mentality with demonstrated success in developing and executing sales plans and record of achieving sales quotas in a B2B environment.

• Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver engaging presentations for clients, and experience working with CRM solutions to report and track pipeline progress.

• Excellent professional communication skills with Senior Executives of commercial or industrial companies, coupled with strong writing skills, and immediate or advanced Microsoft Office skills.

• Self-motivated, achievement oriented, well disciplined, task focused with a strong sense of timeliness.

• Be part of a dynamic Events, Awards and Digital team showcasing innovative Australian water knowledge and technologies on the national and international stage. 
• Manage and deliver premium in-person, digital and hybrid events in Australia including multi-day and multi-stream conferences, exhibitions, and webinars. 
• Manage the end-to-end production of national and state-based events; everything from program curation and development, managing and engaging with Committees, suppliers, venues, and catering, organising relevant technology requirements and maintaining sponsor relationships, through to financial management and post event reporting. 
• Manage end-to-end delivery of Australian delegations to attend and exhibit at international conferences and exhibitions (e.g. Vietwater) (possible international travel opportunities)  
• Contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in our region.

What you’ll need to succeed: 

• 1-2 years’ experience in an Event Manager or similar role with demonstrated ability to manage events and exhibitions from conception to delivery.  
• Can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.  
• Appreciation of diversity and cultural sensitivities working with international partners  
• Digitally savvy with proven experience delivering hybrid and digital events.   
• Ability to work with volunteer committees to deliver an event.  
• Self-starter with commitment to the team’s overall success  
• Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.   
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills An easy, helpful manner and a calm, unflappable approach will also prove very useful!
