Through management and leadership, you will contribute to overall improved performance across your allocated Region. You will also be key to the strength of our relationship with the Department, representing atWork Australia credibly to government stakeholders. 

Lead a team of Claims Consultants and Service Officers to deliver exceptional claims experiences in line with TAL’s claims philosophy and risk management framework.

You’ll focus on delivering a market-leading customer experience while managing risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational excellence. Key to your success will be developing team capability, managing escalations, and fostering strong stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a culture of process improvement and embed change effectively within the team.
• Support department and company-wide projects.
• Stay up to date with industry best practice, policies, and guidelines.
• Ensure TAL’s claims processes reflect industry standards.
• Manage escalated issues and customer complaints, delivering aligned outcomes.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

Assistant Manager – Front Office

Reporting to the Resort’s Rooms Division Manager, the Assistant Manager – Front Office role acts as the Duty Manager and Resort’s representative in the absence of the senior leadership team and General Manager. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Support the Rooms Division Manager in providing overall management to the Front Office and Reservations departments. 
• Co-ordinate and assist with check-ins, check-outs, luggage delivery and creating reservations in line with Accor’s standards.
• Lead by example when attending to guest requests.
• Be proactive and resourceful.
• Have the necessary skills and training to actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by guests.
• Assist the Rooms Division Manager in creating and implementing department training plans to drive performance and engagement within the front office team.
• Assist with the preparation of rosters and timesheets in line with the Award requirements.
• Be a support to all areas of the Resort, helping and guidance in peak times to eliminate potential issues

As the People Operations Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving HR strategies and managing all People Operations matters for our Fulfilment Centre in Altona North (VIC 3025). Your Role:

• Lead high-volume recruitment, onboarding, and talent retention efforts for a diverse workforce.
• Manage complex employee relations cases and guide performance improvement processes.
• Ensure that all HR initiatives meet legal requirements and internal standards.

• Proven experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, blue-collar or operational environment.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of Australian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with a proven ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems, Google suite, and other relevant tools.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with a focus on driving results.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager, to lead the Front of House operation of our luxury resort and lodge. This role will draw on your guest service flare and hospitality knowledge. Opening to the public in mid-2025, this role will be instrumental in the concept and creation of the Front of House aspect of our luxury hotel and lodge operation. This is a fun and truly unique opportunity.

• Working closely with the operation providing guidance and support to establish and maintain consistency in the delivery of the food & beverage including pre opening.
• Develop menus and collaborate with the culinary team on site to ensure the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences for our guests ensuring the food offering is unique to the property.
• Provide training to the team, ensuring they are proficient in service techniques, product knowledge, and safety procedures.
• Monitor and control costs, including food and beverage inventory, and other operational expenses, to maximise profitability without compromising quality and guest service.
• Engage with suppliers to source and select products, negotiate contracts, and ensure that quality and price standards are met.
• Continuously evaluate guest feedback and implement improvement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience.

About you

You will have a deep understanding of the Food and Beverage and Hotel industry, with previous experience in a senior position. Ideally, in leading a food and beverage establishment or hotel.

You will have a collaborative working style, be highly organised and be detail oriented. There will be a strong emphasis on continuous improvement to ensure and maintain the highest quality and distinctive service, fostering an engaged, skilled and motivated team. 

The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue growth.
