• Maintaining the design and integrity of customers' IT systems, coordinating complex projects, and implementing IT solutions.
• Escalate issues to other team members when necessary.
• Keep accurate daily time entries in the form of service ticket notes.
• Implement multiple small to medium projects.
• Lead customer onboarding and offboarding.
• Lead managed service offerings and cross-train on other offerings as assigned.
• Articulate technical information clearly and simply to non-technical people.
• Maintain client documentation.
• Mentor new and other technicians.
• Previous experience in an MSP environment is essential.
• Minimum 10 years of experience of configuring and supporting desktops, servers, and networks (firewalls, switches, routers, wireless access points)

Due to ongoing growth of the team, our Brisbane Building Services Team are looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join their team. This presents a unique opportunity to work on a range of projects across Healthcare, Defence, Industrial, Transport, Infrastructure and the 2032 Olympics.

What will a day in this role look like:

• Gain exposure to client management and further develop your design / project management skills by acting as Electrical Lead on  a variety of projects.
• Review and sign off on electrical design documentation of Electrical Building Services including electrical power distribution and reticulation systems, lighting (incl. emergency) design, standby power generation (incl. renewable-type, UPS and Generator) and lightning protection.
• Work on a variety of interesting projects across the full project lifecycle; from tender preparation and design delivery through to construction support across an array of sectors
• Mentor junior engineers, assisting them with their professional development whilst working closely with other design disciplines in project teams.
• Provide assistance and contribute technically to the development of engineering proposals across bids and tenders across major projects with our Building Services Group.
